Why Waris Baig not happy with Wasim Akram?

The legendary singer of the Pakistani music industry Waris Baig has criticized Sultan of Swing and former cricketer Wasim Akram for making a video on ‘Bado Badi’.

Waris Baig recently appeared as a guest on actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where he talked about his career and Pakistani music.

In response to a question asked by the host, the singer said that nowadays people don’t want to learn music, but if someone has a good voice, he starts thinking of himself as a singer.

He said that in today’s era there are music teachers who teach many artists unique and wonderful music but here people don’t want to go to teachers. Today, social media has made people like Chahat Fateh Ali singers.

Commenting on Waseem Akram’s ‘Bado Badi’ video, the singer criticised Waseem Akram for making a video on Chahat’s ‘Bado Badi’. I would appreciate if he make a video on Madam Noor Jahan, Baig said.

He further said that the reality is that we do not bring forward talented artists but only promote famous people on social media.

The singer request that let Chahat be Chahat and don’t make him Fateh Ali Khan.
