Will Babar Azam remain Pakistan white-ball captain?

Pakistan Head Coach Gary Kirsten and his assistant Azhar Mahmood arrived in Lahore on Monday to decide the fate of Babar Azam as white-ball captain.

The duo will meet Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi where they will formally announce their decision.

Key agendas of the meeting include potential changes in team composition, fitness protocols, and leadership roles.

Moreover, Jason Gillespie, the head coach of the red-ball team, will be arriving in Lahore from Karachi today (Monday) as well.

Former Test cricketers have also been invited for consultations. On Monday, the PCB chief and other board officials will meet with these former players to gather their views and suggestions.

The discussion will focus on bridging the gap between the standards of Pakistan’s domestic competitions and international cricket.
