Will it rain in Karachi today?

The Metrological Depart has forecast cloudy weather for Karachi today (Saturday) with a possibility of light drizzle.

The Weather department said that the slight restoration of the sea breeze would ease intensity of heat in the port city.

However, the maximum temperature is expected to reach between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the air is quite high, standing at 79%, contributing to the discomfort. Winds are blowing from the northwest direction at a speed of 7km per hour, according to the Met Department.

On Friday, the weather turned pleasant with a sudden rain in most parts of the city.

Despite the rain, humidity levels remained high, slightly reducing the intense heat.

The highest rainfall was recorded at University Road with 14.8 mm, while the lowest was at Ibrahim Hyderi with 1 mm.
