Will Pakistan name street after US soldier Bushnell?

A street in Palestinian has been named after US soldier Aaron Bushnell, who had self-immolated in protest against genocide of Gazans recently.

The sad incident took place outside the Israeli embassy in Washington on Feb. 25. The 25-year-old, Aaron Bushnell, dressed in military attire, set himself on fire after sprinkling flammable liquid on himself during a live stream on the internet; While burning in fire he shouted: “I will no longer be complicit in genocide.”  He also screamed: “Free Palestine.”

To name the street after Aaron Bushnell, a ceremony was held in which Jericho’s Mayor Abdul Karim Sidr paid a rich tribute to US soldier. The mayor said that Bushnell sacrificed everything for the Palestinian cause.

Abdul Karim Sidr said that we didn’t know him (Bushnell) and he didn’t know us. He continued that there were no social, economic or political ties between us. The mayor said that what we share is a love for freedom and a desire to stand against attacks on Gaza.

Sidr said that we made a quick decision so we would be first.

Jericho city has also dedicated a square to South Africa to recognize its legal action accusing Israel of genocide at the International Court of Justice.

A question arises in the minds of many Pakistanis: Will Pakistan follow the suit.?
