UN Raises Concerns Over Humanitarian Crisis in Afghanistan

The Afghan Taliban regime, a patron of terrorists, has put public welfare on the back burner; the humanitarian crisis has intensified, and the United Nations has exposed the security failures of the Afghan Taliban regime and the crippled aid system in Afghanistan.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has revealed that the ongoing unrest and security crisis in Afghanistan have severely affected aid activities. In Afghanistan, 86 incidents against aid activities were reported in March, in which one aid worker was killed.

According to the OCHA report, restrictions on women from working under the Afghan Taliban regime persisted, and 14 cases were reported for participating in relief activities. The Global Food Crisis 2026 report ranked Afghanistan fifth in the world in terms of severe food insecurity.
