An Iranian academic who spent nearly a decade studying and conducting research in the West has offered a personal reflection on the legacy of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Dr. Shahab Norouzian Alam said his experience in both Western academia and Iran has given him a comparative perspective on the Leader’s role during one of the most consequential periods in the country’s modern history.
