Yemeni Delegation Says Khamenei’s Legacy Will Strengthen “Resistance” Movement

A Yemeni delegation visiting Tehran to attend the funeral ceremony of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that his legacy would reinforce the resolve of what it described as the “resistance” movement. The officials said their participation in the ceremony reflected solidarity and appreciation for his role in supporting regional causes and the broader Muslim world.

The delegation stated that Ayatollah Khamenei had supported the Yemeni people during the Saudi-led military intervention backed by the United States, and described his role as significant in advancing what they termed the ideals of the Muslim Ummah. They said his leadership had made him a symbol for resistance against external influence and “hegemonic projects.”

They further added that the sacrifices of leaders associated with the “axis of resistance” would strengthen their determination to continue their political and ideological objectives. According to them, such losses would not weaken the movement but instead reinforce its commitment to its stated goals.
