Youm-e-Ali (A.S) being observed today

The martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (A.S) is being observed today with devotion and respect.

In Islamabad, last night, the main procession of Hazrat Ali (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) left Imambargah Zainabiya and reached Imambargah Asna Ashri through its traditional routes.

The Youm-Ali (A.S) procession will be taken out in Karachi at 1 pm as the routes of the procession have been closed by placing containers.

The main procession will pass through MA Jinnah Road, Regal Chowk, Preedy Street and terminate at Hussainian Iranian Kharadar at 7 pm.

Vehicular traffic will not be allowed on the procession route beyond Gurumandir Chowk during the procession hours. Traffic coming from Nazimabad will be diverted from Lasbela Chowk to Nishtar Road while traffic from Liaquatabad will be diverted from Tin Hatti Chowk to Jail Road.

Traffic coming from Stadium Road will be allowed to go to Nazimabad from New MA Jinnah Road while vehicles from Pakistan Highway will be allowed to move Nazimabad from Liaquatabad No.10.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has announced that all educational institutions will remain closed on today on account of Youm-e-Ali (A.S) today.

According to a notification, all the public and private educational institutions in will remain closed today in Sindh.
