77 died as Coronavirus confirmed cases rise to 4892 in Pakistan.

Official sources confirmed that 77 people have so far died due to COVID-19.

Number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country has incresaed to 4892.
According to the latest data shared by the National Command and Operation Center, 2336 cases are in Punjab,.
It confirmed 1318 cases in Sindh, 656 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 220 in Balochistan, 215 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 113 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 34 in Azad Kashmir.
762 people have so far recovered from the virus.
Earlier, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan presided over a meeting to review relief and other activities in view of handling the situation emerged as result of coronavirus in the province.
On this occasion, the Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Imran Zarkoon gave briefing to participants of the meeting about various measures being taken with regard to Coronavirus situation.
While addressing the meeting, CM Jam Kamal Khan instructed all officials to remain vigilant to provide every type of relief and medical assistance to the Coronavirus hit people.
 
Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar took an aerial view of different cities to monitor the lockdown situation.
The chief minister checked the enforcement of lockdown, closure of shops and bazaars and traffic situation.
He viewed Multan, Mian Channu, Kamalia and Lahore.
While speaking on the occasion, Buzdar commended the efforts of the police, rangers and administration to ensure the enforcement of lockdown.
Meanwhile, Punjab Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid also spoke to the media in Lahore today.
Punjab government is taking all possible measures for satisfactory treatment of the coronavirus victims.
The minister further said number of coronavirus patients not on rise due to effective lockdown.
