Coronavirus kills 26 more people raising death toll to 327 in Pakistan.

According to National Command and Operation Center, 3425 patients have so far recovered.

Notably, the death toll from the virus stands at 327.

Earlier on Tuesday, NCOC had reported death toll stood at 301.

Meanwhile, it reported Wednesday that confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan soared to 14,885

AS per province wise details: 5,827 cases in Punjab, 5,291 in Sindh, 2,160 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 915 in Balochistan, 330 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 297 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 65 in Azad Kashmir.

on the other hand, NDMA is dispatching fourth consignment of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for doctors and health workers of Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Spokesperson disclosed this.

The PPE include surgical masks, N-95 masks, protective gowns, gloves, shoe covers, surgical head covers, face shields, protective goggles, and sanitizers.

According to the spokesman, NDMA has already sent fourth consignment of PPEs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said provision of PPEs is also continuing to hospitals of Punjab, Sindh, and Azad Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Army troops are also assisting civil administration in containment efforts of COVID-19 across the country.

According to ISPR, Troops are busy in relief efforts and distribution of over 350,000 army assistance packages.

They have distributed in various parts of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
