President, PM, Senate Chairman, COAS inquire after health of NA speaker Asad Qaiser.

President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjarani and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa telephoned National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.

They inquired after his health.

While speaking on the occasion, they expressed good wishes for the speaker’s health.

They also prayed for his early recovery.

Meanwhile, PPPP Leader Syed Naveed Qamar and other Parliamentarians also called Speaker.

They inquired about his health and wished him speedy recuperation.

The Speaker thanked all the dignitaries, his fellow Parliamentarians, friends, general public and his constituents for their good wishes and prayers.

He asked all the Pakistanis to follow the health guidelines to save themselves and others from this pandemic.

According to the spokesperson for National Assembly Speaker,  Asad Qaiser is recovering from the coronavirus

He confirmed hospitalization of the Speaker Asad Qaiser for better care.

Now, he said, Speaker feels much better because he doesn’t have fever anymore.

Only a slight chest infection remains.

Earlier, he tested positive for the virus and went into home isolation.

Coronavirus infection has killed more than 600 people across Pakistan while the deadly virus has infected over 28 ,000 people so far.
