PM and COAS visit ISI headquarters for comprehensive briefing amid tension along LoC.

During his visit to ISI’s headquarters along with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Prime Minister directed them to make every effort for national security and sovereignty.

Lieutenant General ISI Faiz Hamid received the Prime Minister on his arrival at the ISI headquarters.

Prime Minister Imran Khan appreciated the sacrifices and tireless efforts of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Agency.

On the occasion, the officials concerned gave Prime Minister comprehensive briefing encompassing complex regional and domestic challenges with special focus on Pakistan’s efforts for restoration of peace and stability.

Federal Ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar and Special Assistant on National Security Moeed Yousuf also accompanied the PM.

Pakistan condemns India for declaring HC officials persona non grata

Earlier, Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Indian government’s decision to declare two officials of Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi as persona non grata.

New Delhi also required them to leave India within 24 hours.

The FO spokeswoman Aisha Farooqui noted the Indian action accompanied by a negative pre-planned and orchestrated media campaign, which is a part of persistent anti-Pakistan propaganda.
