Balochistan CM meets Prime Minister in Islamabad on Thursday.

Prime Minister Imran Khan told Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan that welfare of the people of Balochistan and social and economic development of the province included among the top priorities of the government.

He assured the Centre would provide and the provincial government would be provided every possible cooperation in that regard.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan called on him at the PM Office.

Federal Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, MNAs Sardar Israr Khan Tarin, Khalid Magsi, Senators Anwar ul Haq, Ahmed Khan and Taj Afridi also attended the meeting.

Matters related to overall situation of the province, particularly the steps taken to contain the coronavirus and ongoing development projects came under discussion during the meeting.

On May 9, 2020, Balochistan government eased lockdown from while directing for preventive measures.

On the other hand, government has announced launching an effective media campaign across the country to create awareness and to educate the masses for voluntary compliance of SOPs.

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar made this announcement.

Meanwhile, Coronavirus killed 82 people during last 24 hours raising death toll to 1770.

According to official figures, 30,128 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

Covid19 related eighty two deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours.

Hence, the death toll rose to 1770.

Meanwhile, 20, 167 corona tests carried out during this period.

In that, 4688 new coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country.

It took the total tally to 85,264.
