The meeting is discussing the economic affairs of the country.

Earlier, federal cabinet discussed overall political and economic situation of the country during its meeting.

Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday.

It discussed overall political and economic situation of the country.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has emphasized the need to expedite the process of reforms and restructuring of Pakistan International Airline.

He said this while, chairing a meeting regarding reforms and restructuring of the national carrier in Islamabad.

The PM termed reforms essential to save the national exchequer of loss of billions of rupees.

Moreover, he said national economy is facing difficult situation due to coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh held a meeting with Chairman Businessmen community Siraj Kassaim Teli and representatives of Karachi Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

He assured the business community of proper consideration to budget proposals they had put forward to the federal government.

The meeting held to discuss budget proposals from business community of Karachi, in Islamabad today [Monday].

Sheikh said the government is giving proper consideration to the proposals of business community in the upcoming budget.
