Sindh govt extends smart lockdown for another 15 days.

The Home Department of Sindh has extended lockdown till 15th of this month in the province.

According to the notification, all educational institutions, marriage halls, cinemas, theatre, beauty parlours and restaurants will remain closed.

The businesses except pharmacies and essential services would remain open for five days in a week from 6AM to 7PM.

Moreover, home delivery service will remain operational till 11PM.

Authorities concerned announced unsealing of two sub sectors of sectors I-8 and I-10 of Islamabad on Thursday.

According to a notification which the local administration issued, I-8/3, I-8/4, I-10/1 and I-10/2 will be unsealed today at 07PM.

The ICT administration had sealed these sectors on 18th June due to surge in Coronavirus cases in the mentioned localities.

Meanwhile official update on Wednesday had it, over 100K Coronavirus patients recovered so far in Pakistan while total confirmed cases rose to 213,470.

According to official data, 4,133 new coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country over the last twenty-four hours.

Meanwhile, 100,802 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

As per province wise details of 213,470 total cases, 76262 cases reported in Punjab so far.

Moreover, , 84640 cases reported in Sindh, 26598 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10476 in Balochistan, 12912 in Islamabad, 1489 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1093 in Azad Kashmir.

Besides, the death toll from the virus stands at 4,395.

Of them, 91 deaths reported during the last twenty-four hours.

Furthermore, 22,418 corona tests carried out during this period.
