He announced screening of passengers travelling abroad made mandatory.

he said the passengers should act responsibly and should not embark upon the foreign travel if they have symptoms of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, he rejected the impression that Pakistan is exporting the coronavirus to other countries.

Dr Moeed said we are keeping a close eye on the incoming and out-bound passengers.

He said Pakistan has acted in the most responsible manner to check the spread of the virus.

Moeed Yusuf said the PIA flights for the gulf region will continue.

He said we have brought back Pakistanis from seventy countries.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari has rejected the British media reports on Coronavirus in Pakistan.

He rebuffed aforesaid reports as baseless and misleading. Unfortunately, they wrongly claimed that the UK has imported half of coronavirus cases from Pakistan.

In a press release, he said the pandemic hit the UK in start of February, while it reached Pakistan by end of the same month.

He reminded the UK media of fact that not even a single case of coronavirus in Pakistan reported prior to the United Kingdom’s case.

Furthermore, Zulfi Bukhari said The Telegraph, The Sun and Daily Mail did cheap and non-professional reporting.
