Speaker NA reiterates govt commitment on rehabilitation of IDPs of Balochistan.

The National Assembly Asad Qaiser said, while chairing a meeting of Special Committee on Balochistan in Islamabad on Friday.

He said the government remains committed to facilitate repatriation of internally displaced persons of Balochistan and their subsequent rehabilitation.

He said that the government has always accorded immense importance to the maintenance of law and order and development in Balochistan.

Furthermore, the Speaker said the law and order situation in Balochistan has improved.

He noted it right time for the people of province to join the development activities in the province.

The speaker said that Balochistan’s natural resources will be utilized for the betterment of the people of the province.

Recently, Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-Mengal) announced parting ways with the ruling coalition.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had sought briefing on the issue from PTI’s negotiating committee.

Insiders said the PM wants to resolve the differences.

Federal Ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pervez Khattak and Asad Umar will brief him.

They have held discussion with the disgruntled BNP-M leadership.

Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and BNP chief Akhtar Mengal also have held a meeting.

Earlier, BNP Chief Akhtar Mengal announced rescinding alliance with the with the PIT-led coalition government.

He made that announcement during National Assembly session.
