Over 246130 Coronavirus patients recovered so far across the country.

The authorities concerned confirmed significant improvement in the number of recoveries from Covid in Pakistan.

As many as 246,131 Corona patients have recovered so far.

According to the latest data which the National Command and Operation Center shared, 1114 new cases and 32 deaths reported during the last twenty four hours.

Moreover, 21,628 tests carried out during this period.

It is pertinent to mention here that number of active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan is 25,347.

Meanwhile, the President House hosted a reception on Wednesday to recognize the services of the health workers, who had offered COVID-related duties at hospitals across the country.

President Dr Arif recognized the health workers as heroes for their dedicated services during the COVID-19.

He said by having overcome the pandemic, Pakistan would emerge as a stronger nation.

“You might be a low-paid employee, but when it comes to the national service, you stand atop.

Dozens of health workers and family members of those who have lost their lives during the anti-COVID services attended the reception.

Those others attended included: First Lady Samina Alvi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Safety and Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar, Pakistan Baitul Mal Managing Director Aun Abbas Buppi, office- bearers of International Rescue Committee.
