National Command and Operation Center nods opening of educational institutions.

The NCOC on Thursday said the educational institutions

should be opened with top to bottom approach starting from universities, colleges and high schools.

Its morning session held with a single point agenda of opening of educational institutions across Pakistan.

The NCOC invited the representatives of educational institutions including pubilc, private and madaris at NCOC morning session.

It invited them for taking all stakeholders on board, consultations and consensus based decisions for opening of various institutions from University to school levels.

All provincial including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) focal representatives joined the meeting through video link.

NCOC apprised the participants about present Covid situation at global, regional and Pakistan’s own COVID curve.

Furthermore, the NCOC informed about risk and challenges involved after opening of educational institutions as it involved children of all ages.

The meeting informed the participants that authorities concerned mapped these challenges after hectic and lengthy consultations with international experts.

NCOC said they also consulted academia and Think Tanks particularly who were working on educational sector opening.

On the other hand, Pakistan active Coronavirus cases reduced to 8803 with the recovery of over 94 percent recoveries.

According to the latest statistics, 279, 561 patients have recovered from Coronavirus in Pakistan.
