COAS inaugurates Burraq Combat Skills Training Complex in Gujranwala today (Wednesday).

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated Burraq Combat Skills Training Complex in Gujranwala today (Wednesday).

According Inter Services Public Relations, the training complex is aimed at enhancing mechanized elements’ crew proficiency in overcoming obstacles encountered during offensive operations.

During the visit army chief was briefed about operational, training and administrative matters of the Central Command Formations.

He also witnessed integrated training of the strike formation.

All elements including Armoured, Artillery, Engineers and Mechanized Infantry demonstrated operational combat worthiness.

The Army Chief appreciated operational readiness of the strike formation and high morale of troops.

On the other hand, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says India has been losing its credibility at international forums due to its aggressive posturing.

In a statement, he said India’s objection to Pakistan’s political map at the meeting of SCO National Security Advisers was rejected yesterday, which earned embarrassment for India.

The Minister said Russia, being the host of the meeting, did not accept India’s perspective. He said India violated the SCO rules of raising a bilateral issue at the platform.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory, and there are also UN resolutions about the issue.

The Foreign Minister said China repeatedly offered India to resolve issues about Ladakh through dialogue. But, India adopted an aggressive posture, and then faced humiliation. He said China responded to India’s aggression.
