There, Naval Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi reviewed the operational preparedness.

He also reviewed activities of the naval force at Turbat, Gwadar and Ormara.

The Naval Chief was also given briefing on Gwadar Port and the coastal security of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Naval Chief said maritime security has pivotal role with regards to the development of the CPEC.

The Pakistan Navy chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi had earlier visited Cracks area.

Naval Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi also addressed the personnel during the visit.

He said defending the maritime boundaries is the prime responsibility of Pakistan Navy, while the Navy remains ever ready for it.

He said full utilization of weapons is also important along with the valour to defend maritime boundaries of the country.

The Naval Chief visited forward positions along the south-eastern boundary. There he met the officers and Jawans deployed there.

Relevant officers briefed him on the dangers in the Cracks area and operational preparedness of the Pakistan Navy.
