Sehat Sahulat Program for Azad Jammu and Kashmir launched

Sehat Sahulat Program for Azad Jammu and Kashmir launched during a ceremony in Islamabad today (Friday).

Prime Minister Imran Khan formally launched it and also spoke on the occasion.

He said this program will provide health insurance to 1.2 million families in the territory.

It will ensure their medical treatment at three hundred and fifty health facilities across Pakistan.

Furthermore, the PM said the PTI government had started this project from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

From there the process has now been begun to extend the facility to every household.

In Punjab, the programme has provided six million families with the health cards.

The Prime Minister further said that Punjab government is striving to provide this facility to the entire population.

For this the provincial government has set the end of next year as deadline.

AJK Sehat Sahulat Programme sends message

Imran Khan said the launch of this program in Azad Kashmir will also send a message across the LOC.

Because a fascist and oppressive regime is oppressing the rights of people (in IOJK).

The PM said that  the AJK Sehat Sahulat Programme sends message that we care for our people.

Moreover, he noted the timing given economic constraints.

Despite it, the government launched this this universal health coverage program.

Therefore, he called it a courageous decision of the PTI government.

The Prime Minister noted this program in line with the principles of State of Madina.

He further reaffirmed the commitment to transform Pakistan into a welfare state.

Notably he meant transformation of Pakistan as per the vision of founding fathers.
