Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi renewed this invitation, while talking to Japanese Ambassador today (Thursday).

Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda called on him in Islamabad.
The FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi invited Japanese investors to invest in Pakistan in various fields.
Furthermore, he assured that the government would provide all possible facilities to the investors.
The Minister highlighted diverse opportunities to promote bilateral relations in various sectors.
Specially, he mentioned agriculture, industry, low-cost housing and environmental protection.
Moreover, Shah Mahmood said Pakistan is making all out efforts to promote tourism in the country.
He said Pakistan will welcome Buddhist tourists visiting their holy sites.
He also thanked Japanese government and leadership for providing assistance to Pakistan during Coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.
He also lauded Pakistan’s efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
He further reiterated Japan’s commitment to further expand its ties with Pakistan in diverse sectors.
On the other hand, KSE-100 index noted increase of 1.53pc despite lockdown due to Coronavirus.
According to the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Annual Report, the KSE-100 index witnessed an increase of 1.53 percent during the fiscal year 2019-20.
That began the year at 33,901.58 points and ended at 34,421.92 on June 30, 2020.
