Over 2360 new cases of Covid19 confirmed during last 24 hours across the country.

Besides, fifty four people died due to the deadly Coronavirus over the last twenty four hours.

According to the latest statistics, 43,744 tests carried out during aforesaid period.

That brought 2363 new cases of Covid 19 to fore.

Meanwhile, 480696 have so far recovered from the disease.

On the other hand, Adviser to Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan spoke on the vaccine.

While talking to the media in Islamabad, he said that the government will provide Coronavirus vaccine to the people free of cost.

He further said that negotiations with two pharmaceutical companies continued for procurement of vaccine .

Notably, the Technical Committee shortlisted them with the approval of Drug Regularity Authority of Pakistan.

Moreover, the adviser said Pakistan also stay in touch with Chinese government for procuring anti-Corona vaccine.

Besides, Pakistan has engaged the ambassador of the UK in this regard.

Dr Faisal Sultan said the government machinery functioning in procuring vaccine.

He hoped to vaccinate 1.1 million people and procure vaccine for 200 million populations till the first quarter of this year.

Furthermore, he said that registration of 400 thousand health workers has been completed for vaccination in the first phase.
