Over 11680 people died of Coronavirus in Pakistan so far.

According to NCOC, 26 people died of Covid in the country during last 24 hours.

It raised the the total tally to 11,683 deaths.

According to the latest statistics, 1,615 new cases of coronavirus surfaced in the country during the last twenty-four hours.

That figures came to surface after the tests of 34,785 people.

Meanwhile, 501,252 people have so far recovered from the disease.

On the other hand, First batch of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine has arrived in Pakistan today (Monday).

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Dr. Faisal Sultan said.

In a tweet, he said that the government is grateful to China and everyone who made this happen.

He said National Command and Operation Center & all provinces played an instrumental role in tackling COVID.

Moreover, Dr Faisal Sultan appreciated frontline healthcare workers for their efforts.

He further said that they will be first to get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, Punjab has received the first batch of seventy thousand doses of Coronavirus vaccine.

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said, while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Monday.

She further said that the process of administration of Coronavirus vaccine will begin from Wednesday.

The Health Minister said that the govt allows administering frontline health workers coronavirus vaccine in phase one.

Later, vaccination for the elderly over 65 years of age will follow.
