Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu called on Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

Their meeting held at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad today (Tuesday).

During the meeting, Naval Chief congratulated Zaheer Baber on assuming command of Pakistan Air Force.

He said Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force will continue their efforts to enhance synergy and seamless integration in all important operational and other inter services undertakings.

He further said that the PAF will further progress and attain greater heights under the able command of Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber.

Meanwhile, the Air Chief also assured PAF’s full support.

Furthermore, he pledged to work together in making the defense of the country impregnable.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar has assumed PAF command recently.

Presently, he is holding introductory meetings.

Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda called on Pakistan Naval Chief.

He met Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi in Islamabad today.

Both sides discussed promotion of bilateral cooperation in the maritime sector.

Moreover, the Japanese envoy appreciated Pakistan Navy for bringing navies from different parts of the world together on one platform through Aman exercise.

He also lauded Pakistan Navy for playing its part for maritime security.
