Salman Akram Raja released after brief arrest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior leader Advocate Salman Akram Raja and other have been released after brief in Lahore, GTV reported on Saturday.
The arrest was also confirmed by the party and termed the act βextremely shameful and disgustingβ, calling for his immediate release.
However, the PTI leader and other workers were released after the arrest.
Raja contested the polls as an independent candidate backed by the party in Lahoreβs NA-128 constituency.
The party also shared a video on its official X account of the Punjab police taking the lawyer into custody.
βThey are arresting me unlawfully. I am with the public and we will continue to raise the righteous voice,β he told reporters while being whisked away by the police.
