Watch: Indian cop kicks Muslims offering prayers

A Delhi Police officer was suspended on Friday, after he was caught kicking Muslims offering Firday prayers on street near Inderlok on Friday.
The cop is identified as Manoj Kumar Tomar, whose video went viral on social media.
An inquiry into the matter has been initiated and appropriate action will be taken, said DCP North Manoj Meena.
Congress leader Supriya Shrinate shared the viral video and wrote, “The motto of Amit Shah’s Delhi Police is peace, service, justice…working diligently.”

Moreover, another Congress lawmaker Imran Pratapgarhi condemned the incident and said the Delhi Police must file a case against officer.
“What is this hatred? This person probably does not understand the basic tenets of humanity,” Imran wrote.
Moreover, DCP North confirmed that Kumar was suspended after the incident.
“We explained to them that action was taken against the police. An announcement was made through the masjid authorities,” the DCP was quoted by Hindustan Times.
