Two killed in Peshawar blast

Two people were killed while another received injuries in a blast on Board Bazar road in Peshawar, police officials said on Sunday morning.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi, it was allegedly a suicide blast, which took place on Board Bazar road. As a result, two people were killed and and one injured criitcally.
The injured person is being provided treatment at Khyber Teaching Hospital.
The bodies have also been moved to the hospital.
A heavy contingent of police led by SSP operations are present at the site of the explosion.
Officials of the counter-terrorism department and rescue teams are collecting evidence.
An investigation into the blast has been launched and the area has been cordoned off.
