Imran, Qureshi exchange Eid greetings at Adiala Jail

A big Eid congregation was held at the main Jama Masjid of Adiala Jail, which was  attended by PTI founder Imran Khan, prisoners and police personnel.

PTI founder Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi offered Namaz-e-Eid at the Jama Masjid of Adiala Jail.

Sources said that Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi hugged each other and exchanged Eid greetings with each other after offering the Eidul Fitr Namaz.

Apart from this, the jail officials also offered Eid prayers with the PTI founder amid strict security on the premises.

Earlier this month, an Islamabad court had acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan, Asad Umar and other party leaders in a case pertaining to taking out a rally.

Hearing the case, Judicial Magistrate Mureed Abbas acquitted PTI founder, Asad Omar, Raja Khurram Nawaz and Ali Awan in a case concerning taking out a rally.

The case was registered against PTI founder Imran Khan, Asad Omar and Ali Awan at the Margalla Police Station.

The Islamabad High Court had earlier suspended sentence awarded to PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana case.

A two-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court heard PTI founder Imran Khan’s plea for suspension of sentence in the Toshakhana case, in which Ali Zafar argued on behalf of former prime minister.
