Rs5 per litre cut likely in petrol price
Expected petrol price in Pakistan: Fuel rates drop from March 16
Petrol and diesel prices are expected to decrease from midnight today (May 1).
According to the details, after the reduction in the price of Brent crude in the international market, the prices of petrol and diesel are likely to reduce by Rs5 and Rs8 per litre, respectively.
The government may cut the price of petrol by Rs5 per litre for the next 15 days from May 1. The price of petrol may be reduced from Rs293.94 to Rs288 per liter while price of diesel by Rs8 per litre to Rs282.38 from Rs290.38.
Similarly, according to government and industry sources, the price of kerosene may be reduced by Rs8 per litre from Rs193.8 to Rs185.5 and the price of light diesel oil by Rs5.37 from Rs174.34 to Rs168.97 per litre.
