President summons sessions of NA, Senate

President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the separate sessions of National Assembly and Senate today.

According to the announcement issued by the President’s House, the president has called the meeting of the National Assembly today (Thursday, June 6) at 5 pm.

The statement added that President Asif Ali Zardari has also summoned a meeting of the Senate on Friday, June 7 at 10:30 am.

Zardari has called the meetings of the Senate and the National Assembly under Article 54 (1) of the Constitution.
