Aima Baig shares shares candid snap with her 'only real friend'
Pakistani singer Aima Baig has come under fire from netizens for her recent performance at the ‘Pakistan and Indonesia Music Night’ in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, shortly after completing her Umrah pilgrimage.
The event, held as part of the Jeddah Season, featured a lineup of artists including Bilal Saeed, Rabeeca Khan, and Indonesian singer Lady Rara, and was attended by thousands of people.
Baig’s announcement prior to the event had sparked rumors of her quitting the music industry, but she clarified that she was traveling abroad for work-related reasons.
Her performance in Jeddah was well-received, with the crowd enthralled by her renditions of popular songs like “Kaif-o-Suroor” and “Mast Malang”.
However, Aima Baig’s participation in the music show after posting about her Umrah pilgrimage on Instagram stories drew mixed reactions from her followers.
The singer had performed the minor pilgrimage on the same visit to Saudi Arabia before engaging in her work related activities in Saudi Arabia.
