Sindh, including Karachi, braces for another monsoon lashing today

Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad is likely to receive heavy showers with thunderstorm today.
Strong monsoon system present near Indian Rann of Katch and Tharparkar will reach Karachi and Hyderabad today and cause heavy rain with wind and thunder today afternoon.
According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi is likely to receive 150 to 200 mm of rain in the next three days.
It added that there is a possibility of intermittent rain in many places of Sindh, including Karachi, until August 31, with strong winds and thunderstorms, and heavy downpours in some places.
Schools in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sajawal, Badin, Tando Allayar and Sanghar are closed today in view of rain.
Notification of holiday in schools of central district of Karachi has been withdrawn as all schools in the city are opened.
