Karachi braces for another rain spell
Another monsoon spell is likely to hit Karachi from Tuesday, September 03, said the Pakistan Meteorologist Department in its forecast.
Moist current from Bay of Bengal are expected to enter Pakistan today (Monday), it said. Under the influence, thundershowers with isolated heavy falls are likely across Pakistan.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz said, the system is currently located over the eastern coast of India.
However, it’s intensity is not severe, which will bring light rain in the metropolis for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday (September 3 and 4).
It is also expected to lash in Sukkur, Larkana, Khairpur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot and Sanghar from September 3 to 4 with occasional gaps.
