Toshakhana-II case: Bushra Bibi’s bail challenged in SC

The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) on Saturday challenged Bushra Bibi’s bail in the Toshakhana-II case in the Supreme Court.
FIA stated in its plea that bail was granted in Islamabad High Court judge’s chamber and it violates Supreme Court guidelines.
The agency claimed that the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan involved in the case along with her husband.
IHC Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb accepted the post-arrest bail plea of Bushra Bibi against surety bonds of Rs1 million.
The court also directed authorities concerned to immediately release the former first lady.
