After the divorce of Oscar-winning Indian musician AR Rahman, his fellow guitarist Mohini Dey also announced the separation from her husband, after which the lawyer of his ex-wife has issued a statement.
On November 19, a statement was released by Vandana Shah, the lawyer of AR Rehman’s wife Saira Banu, regarding the separation of AR Rehman and Saira.
Hours after the musician’s separation, AR Rahman’s band guitarist Mohini Dey announced her separation from her husband on social media.
“With a heavy heart, Mark and I announce that we have separated, it is our mutual decision, and we remain good friends,” said a joint statement issued by Mohini Dey and her husband Mark.
After Mohini Dey’s statement, social media users were making a connection between their separation and AR Rahman’s divorce, which has now been clarified by Saira Banu’s lawyer Vandana Shah.
Explanation of the lawyer:
According to Vandana Shah, AR Rehman and Saira Banu’s divorce has nothing to do with Mohini Dey’s divorce. Saira and AR Rehman have taken this decision for personal reasons.
