PTI convoy led by KP CM Gandapur reaches Islamabad

Led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, a large convoy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters, has entered the Islamabad.

The event was documented in a video posted on the official PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa X (formerly Twitter) account, showcasing the significant presence of party supporters as they make their way towards the capital.

About 6,000 police personnel have been deployed at various entry points of the capital city to prevent PTI protestors from entering the ICT.

Heavy enforcement has been made at Chungi 26 from police, where they have stockpiled stones and prepared tear gas and rubber bullets for potential crowd control.

Rangers are also on alert at this location.

All public and private educational institutions in Rawalpindi and Islamabad will remain closed on Tuesday, as announced by the respective district administrations.

The decision to close the schools and colleges was made in light of the prevailing law and order situation in the region.

Moreover, police have arrested over 139 PTI workers in Islamabad, with additional arrests reported across Rawalpindi.
