Salma Hassan opens up about her mother tongue

Salma Hassan, a well-known actress of Pakistani drama industry, recently participated in a TV show where she made interesting revelations about her personal life and family background.

The actress spoke for the first time about her mother’s background and her mother tongue while playing a game segment during the show.

She said that Urdu is not her mother tongue and that is why she sometimes makes mistakes in words.

Salma said: “My national language is English because my mother was part British while my grandmother was fully British. However, I know the Urdu alphabet well and can read it too.”

It should be remembered that Salma Hassan started her career with the successful comedy serial ‘Sub Set Hai’ and after that she won the hearts of the audience by showing the essence of acting in many popular dramas.

Salma’s notable dramas include “Pyar Ke Sadqay”, Kahni, Baddua, Mujy Pyar Hua Tha, Fairy Tail and others.

These days the actress is seen giving her best performance in “Jaan Se Pyara Johni” and “Bharam”.
