India reject Pakistan’s hybrid model, meeting postponed again

The crucial meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) got postponed again after, the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) rejected the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s hybrid model proposal.
The board meeting was scheduled for today (Thursday) to discuss the hosting of the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.
According to sources, the delay occurred after India failed to respond to Pakistan’s stance.
The meeting is now rescheduled for December 07.
PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Dubai this morning for the meeting.
Sources further revealed that the BCCI has also rejected the PCB’s proposals, leaving the impasse unresolved.
Following this, PCB communicated a clear response to the ICC that the meeting should take place only when a final decision is necessary.
It is pertinent to mention here that the upcoming Champions Trophy is facing dilemma after India refused to send its team to Pakistan.
