Apple temporarily turns off AI summaries feature

Apple’s AI-generated summaries of notifications will be temporarily unavailable from news apps for users of its beta software.
CNBC report quoted a company spokesperson as saying that with the latest beta software releases of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS Sequoia 15.3, Notification summaries for the News & Entertainment category will be temporarily unavailable.
He added that the company was working on software’s improvements, which will be dispatched via a future update.
