Mohsin Naqvi denies attending anti-China function in US

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that he did not participate in any anti-China event in the US as a poisonous propaganda is being spread by the opponents.

While speaking to the media in Houston, the interior minister said that his participation in the youth event is being misrepresented but he did not attend any anti-China event and this kind of propaganda does not matter.

Naqvi clarified that the purpose of his visit to the US is to formulate an effective strategy against terrorism.

He further said that terrorism is not only a war of Pakistan but it is a joint fight of all and those who take arms against Pakistan will be dealt with iron hands.

The interior minister said that his visit to America consists of meetings with politicians whose aim is to create an effective plan against terrorism. The US House of Representatives is being instigated against Pakistan and politics should not be to the extent that Pakistan is harmed, he added.

Describing the meetings with the Congress members as positive, the minister said that various aspects were discussed to further strengthen the relations between the two countries.

He emphasized that the cooperation of the international community is necessary to solve the problems of Pakistan.
