Gold Hits Record High as Prices Rise by Rs10,000 Per Tola - Check New Rates
Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a modest decline on Monday. The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs300, settling at Rs289,100 per tola.
The value of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also decreased by Rs257, reaching Rs247,856, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, 22-karat gold saw a decrease, with 10 grams priced at Rs227,209.
Silver prices also saw a slight reduction in the local market.
The cost of 24-karat silver decreased by Rs14, priced at Rs3,395 per tola, while 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs12, reaching Rs2,910.
On the global front, spot gold was trading at approximately $2,770 per ounce, marking a small increase of $3.2 or 0.12% compared to the previous session.
The U.S. dollar strengthened by 0.3%, making gold more expensive for international buyers. Market attention is now focused on the U.S. Federal Reserve’s upcoming meeting, with investors eagerly awaiting any insights on the future direction of U.S. interest rates.
