Dubai to give 10,000 Golden Visas to content creators

Dubai has launched a new initiative, ‘Creators HQ’, to attract 10,000 influencers and digital content creators to the city.

Participants in the program will get support with UAE golden visa applications, company setup, relocation assistance, and registration.

This announcement has been made at the 1 Billion Followers Summit. The event is dedicated to the creator economy and the attendees collectively represented an audience exceeding one billion followers.

This initiative is backed by an AED 150 million ($40.8 million) Content Creators Support Fund that was introduced at the last years’ event.

Actor Asad Raza Khan has highlighted the country’s dedication to fostering talent in content creation, acting, and writing.

He had received his UAE golden visa in 2022 under the actor category.

Khan noted that the UAE is now offering golden visas—10-year residence permits—to 10,000 creators. The initiative is a part of UAE’s effort to attract talent from around the world.
