PTI founder didn’t write any letter to anyone: Adiala Jail Superintendent
Adiala Jail Superintendent Abdul Ghafoor Anjum has revealed that Imran Khan did not write any letter to any person from jail.
According to details, the Adiala Jail superintendent while talking to an Urdu language newspaper team revealed that PTI founder Imran Khan did not write any letter from jail to any person including the Army Chief and a judge.
He said that if any detained person has to write any letter, he will get the pen and paper from the jail administration and then hand over the letter to the jail superintendent, who under Section 565 of the Jail Rules and ensure that there is no message of anarchy, terrorism, public order and harm to anyone, then he will allow him to send the letter to the court.
He further said that the accused/convict is allowed to have two meetings a week and if an accused/criminal submits a letter in a week, then one permission for the meeting is left. Imran Khan is allowed three meetings a week. Censoring the message is also one of the duties of the superintendent jail.
The jail superintendent said that the claim about Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi that she has been kept in solitary confinement is completely baseless and absurd.
