Omar Ayub confirms PTI sent dossier, letter to IMF

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sent a letter and a dossier to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission.

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub confirmed that a letter has been sent to the IMF mission in Islamabad.

He said that the dossier was also sent to the Chief Justice of Pakistan and there was evidence in the dossier regarding rigging in the general elections.

He said that the report of the non-governmental organization Patan regarding the election 2024 has also been sent to the IMF. Details related to election rigging have been attached in the dossier. The letter and details sent to the Chief Justice have also been sent to the IMF delegation.

In a letter to the IMF, Omar Ayub said that a dossier containing evidence of rigging has been sent to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

According to the text of the letter, the PTI founder had met the IMF delegation on July 7, 2023, in which he stressed the need to hold transparent elections for the supremacy of law.

Omar Ayub said in the letter that there is evidence how the PTI is being suppressed. The dossier contains facts and evidence that how the mandate was snatched from the PTI. For political and economic stability, it is necessary to address our concerns, he added.
