Schools and colleges timings in Ramadan 2025

The Sindh government has officially released a notification outlining the revised school timings for Ramadan 2025, which will be observed in all primary, secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools across the province, including Karachi.

The updated timings will apply to both single-shift and double-shift schools throughout the holy month.

Revised School Timings for Ramadan 2025

As per the newly issued notification, the following school timings will be in effect:

For Primary Schools:

Double-Shift Schools:

• • First Shift: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Second Shift: 11:45 AM – 2:45 PM

Single-Shift Schools:

• • 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM

On Fridays:

Double-Shift Schools:

• • First Shift: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Second Shift: 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM

Single-Shift Schools:

• 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM

For Secondary, Higher Secondary & Elementary Schools:

Double-Shift Schools:

• • First Shift: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Second Shift: 11:45 AM – 2:45 PM

Single-Shift Schools:

• • 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM

On Fridays:

Double-Shift Schools:

• First Shift: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM

School Timing Notification – Sindh 2025

The Sindh Education Department is expected to make the official school timing notification available for download soon on its website.

Parents, students, and school administrations are advised to regularly check for any updates or further modifications regarding school holidays and other announcements related to Ramadan 2025.
