Colombian pop singer Shakira has been taken to a hospital after her health suddenly deteriorated.
According to a foreign media report, the singer has been admitted to a hospital in Peru due to stomach problems, while all her scheduled concerts in Peru has also been canceled.
The report states that the singer is undergoing treatment while doctors have stopped her from performing and advised her to rest.
Shakira has issued a message for fans on social networking site X former Twitter, saying that she is admitted to the hospital. Doctors have stopped her from performing, but she will recover soon and meet fans.
The singer said that she regrets not performing today, but she is excited to meet the people of Peru and will soon perform for them.
Shakira arrived in Peru on Friday where she had several concerts scheduled.
