Gautam Gambhir and BCCI selectors got into heated debate over selection

India team head coach Gautam Gambhir and the selectors have been at loggerheads over Shreyas Iyer and the second wicketkeeper for the Champions Trophy.
According to media reports, this news before the ICC event is not good for the Indian camp. The Indian selection panel headed by Ajit Agarkar and the head coach do not have compatibility.
According to the report, there has been a bitter exchange of words between them on the retention of Shreyas Iyer and wicketkeeping options.
It should be noted that Lokesh Rahul has played all three ODIs of the home series against England and Gambhir has already put Rishabh Pant’s place in danger by declaring Rahul as the first choice wicketkeeper.
On the other hand, the Indian team has reached the United Arab Emirates to participate in the Champions Trophy 2025.
The Blue Shirts will play all the matches of the event in Dubai. Pakistan will play a group match against India at the Dubai Stadium on Sunday, February 23.
