Day 3: Chhaava box office collection crosses ₹150 crore mark

Starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, “Chhaava” has become the highest grossing film of 2025 by doing a business of 100 crores at the box office in just three days of its release.
The film has done an impressive business of 119.5 crore in three days.
Chhaava is based on the historical battle between Chhatrapati Sambhaji and Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, in which Vicky Kaushal plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Aurangzeb.
Directed by Laxman Atikar, the film did excellent business in advance bookings and did a record business of 33.10 crores on the first day of its release. The film earned 31 crores on Friday, 35 crores on Saturday, and 48.5 crore on Sunday.
In this way, the total business of the film reached 119.5 crore in three days.
Globally too, the film is close to crossing the 150 crore mark as it has earned 148.95 crore in the global market in three days.
“Chhaava” has broken several big records in its first week, including Hrithik Roshan’s “Tiger Fighter” (115 crore), Deepika Padukone’s “Padmaavat”, Prabhas and Deepika’s “Kalki 2898 AD”, Kartik Aaryan’s “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” (105 crore).
